Shakti Energy Drink

PROJECT BRIEF

This case study gave me the challenge of creating a brand identity for a company by giving me nothing more than a product name. For the creation of this brand, I was given instruction to deep dive into researching competitors, establishing a target audience, creating the voice and tone of a company and setting goals for the Shakti brand. The Shakti brand quickly transformed in to a plant based energy drink as a healthier alternative to the ever increasing population of caffeinated beverages. The Shakti logo was created in Illustrator and incorporates a leaf design to show that the energy drink is derived from natural caffeine and the lightning bolt symbolizes the jolt of energy you get when you drink a Shakti Energy Drink.

STYLE GUIDE

The Shakti style guide was created in InDesign and acts as a guide or manual thats sets the company standards for the typography, logo usage, formatting, and the design of documents.

BUSINESS SET

The Shakti business set was created in Illustrator and InDesign and is comprised of the companies letterhead, envelope, business card and company logo sticker.

PRODUCT

The Shakti energy cans mock up was created in photoshop and is used to visualize what you would expect to see on the shelf of a store. The can features a minimal design and has bright colors that grab the attention of the shopper. On each can there is an illustration of a scene that represents the flavor of the drink.
